Hurling Blitz for 5th and 6th class students Thursday 3rd April 2025
As we now have two full pitches available to us we will play on both and put the goals on each 30 yard line given the students plenty of playing space.
As a result we will play 12 aside games to cut down on the amount of subs.
To help schools with numbers they can bring a max of two female players from 5th or 6th class. (only if necessary)
The rules of the games are as below.
1) All games 10 mins per half
2) 12 aside for All Games.
3) 5 mins break after every game 3 min break at half time
4) No limit to substitutions.
5) Goalie cannot score from the puckout.
6) No Solo allowed , 4 steps one touch.
The format for the day is as follows.

10.15- 10.40 School 1 v School 2 School 5 v School 6
10.45- 11.10 School 3 v School 4 School 7 v School 5
11.15- 11.40 School 1 v School 3 School 6 v School 7
11.45- 12.10. School 4 v School 2 Play off game between 4th team group 1 and 3rd team group 2 to see who is knocked out.
Finals
12.25- 12.50 Second Group 1 v Second Group 2 Third Group 1 v Third Group 2
1.00pm - 1.25pm First Group 1 v first Group 2

Could I ask the schools to send an email to parents to promote the day and hopefully they will come and support the kids where possible.
We will have Goodie bags and a souvenir on the day for all players.
