The Club's Minor Team advanced to the knockout stages of the 'Under 17A Hurling Championship' topping Group 2 with a good win over Kilconieron. Final Score Athenry 4-16 Kilconieron 1-21

The Club's senior hurling team, officials and supporters stopped off at Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club, Portmarnock on their way to play Ruairi Og in Cushendall.
