The club competed at U10, U12, U14, U16, Minor and Junior level. The club played in seven finals during the year, which was a tremendous achievement for the club. Three of our U 16 players, Kelley Malone, Niamh Hanniffy and Soairse Burke were members of the Galway U-16 panel who won this years All-Ireland final. Congratulations to them. The U 10 team travelled to Tuam for the U10 Cup tournament. This was a play off between the top eight teams in the county. Naomh Mhuire and Claregalway contested the final, with Naomh Mhuire coming out on top by a single point. At U-12 level we won the “C” league beating Craughwell in the final while in the “B” Championship we lost out to a very strong Ballinasloe team in the final. Our U-14 team reached the “B” Final for the second year in a row but failed to retain the title that they won in 2011. At U-16 level we won the Division “A” League Shield final beating Ballinasloe in the final. The Championship final has not been played at the time of writing. Our Minor team defeated Tuam/Cortoon in the final of the shield competition of the Mairead Meehan Tournament, which was played in Caltra. Our Junior team won the Junior “D” League and are promoted to the “C” Division for 2013.
